First Aid Kits for field use should have sufficient contents for larger injuries and a longer time span between the injury and the arrival of a rescue squad or the delivery of the patient to a medical facility. Discuss specific needs with the Office of Safety and Environmental Programs.

It is very important that First Aid Kits be kept fully stocked. Replace materials promptly after use. Several times each year, check each First Aid Kit to be certain that it is properly supplied.
