MAMEA computer iconDiscussion List

mamea@vims.edu is the mid-Atlantic regional marine educators' e-mail discussion and communications list. This list provides a forum for classroom and informal educators from Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, and North Carolina to share information, make announcements, post inquiries, and keep current on regional events. It is sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Marine Education Association and is hosted by the Virginia Institute of Marine Science.

ALL messages sent to the list address mamea@vims.edu are immediately and automatically forwarded to ALL list subscribers. Subscribers are expected to use the list only for communications of professional interest to the regional marine education community. Private correspondence should not be sent through the list. K-12 students should not subscribe or post to this list. The list owner reserves the right to remove subscribers from the list for inappropriate posts. mamea@vims.edu is an open, unmoderated list, which means that (1) subscription is open to any interested marine educator or researcher and (2) subscribers post messages directly to the list without filtering or approval by a moderator or editor.

This list is currently managed by LISTPROC, an automatic listserv manager.
