In 2001, no SAV was observed in segment NORTF, a complete loss from 2000 (9.43 ha), when the Tier I goal (7.54 ha) was met for this segment.

The SAV that was present in Sandy and Cara coves of the Northeast River (Map 004) in 2000 was not observed on the aerial photography in 2001.
