The Bridge site navigation index located on the left side of every page links you to all of the Bridge's resources. If the Bridge home page has completely loaded and you don't see it, or it does not work, click here to make it appear, fully expanded. (If you are using a modem, be patient. The menu is large and may take a while to download).
A search box is located at the top of each page. This searches the entire Bridge and National Marine Educators Association (NMEA) websites. The search engine is also able to do advanced searching.
Elementary teachers can find a collection of featured K-6 sites on our elementary page, but we recommend also checking out the ocean sciences topic page(s) of interest. Information on the Bridge is categorized primarily by topic, not by grade level. If after checking out those pages you still haven't found what you're looking for, try our search engine (top of each page).
Printing problems? Are you trying to print a hard copy of a Bridge page (or any other website), but having difficulties because of font colors or background designs? Under Print, Properties, selecting "Print in grayscale" often solves printer problems.
Text seems too big or too small? Under "View" at the top of most browser screens there is a place where you can make the text appear either larger or smaller.
Using Netscape 6? Scroll bars in narrow columns (like the menu) may not display or scroll properly. Try clicking a link towards the top or bottom of the menu (whichever way you need to go) or using arrow keys to force the menu to scroll.
How to return to the Bridge after visiting a linked site? When you click on a link that takes you off the Bridge, a new window opens to hold the page you are visiting, but the Bridge remains open under that page. When you are ready to return to the Bridge, just close the page you visited and the Bridge will still be there, waiting for you.
