Green Sea Turtle
(Chelonia mydas)

If you said green sea turtle, you were right! In addition to being larger, green sea turtle tracks can be distinguished from those of loggerheads by the simultaneous flipper marks and a tail mark down the center of the track.

You may have also answered leatherback sea turtles because they have similar distinguishing characteristics. Leatherback tracks are wider than those of greens, but without a set of leatherback tracks for comparison it would be difficult for anyone but a sea turtle expert to make that call.
