REVEL Project - Research and Education: Volcanoes, Explortaion and Life (REVEL) is an NSF-sponsored program that sends teachers on and below the Pacific Ocean to participate in ongoing oceanographic research.

Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center Distance Education - NSU offers several marine science distance education courses at three levels--as a three credit graduate program (Masters or Ph.D), three credit undergraduate, or as a general interest (certificate) course. Courses include Marine Mammal Management, Life on a Water Planet, and Environmental Sustainability.
Central Caribbean Marine Institute Educational Programs - The Central Caribbean Marine Institute's courses are designed to explore the dynamics of coral reefs and associated environments. The courses are field-based and interdisciplinary in nature, often integrating biology, oceanography, and geology. The field programs run during the winter, spring, and summer months and are designed for undergraduate, graduate students, and K-12 teachers.
Rainforest and Reef - This organization conducts field courses in rainforest and marine ecology in Belize, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Hawaii, British Columbia, and Australia. Three undergraduate or graduate credits are available for attending any of the field courses through Aquinas College of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
