Bulletin Board - Post program and resource announcements, professional development opportunities, careers opportunities or other items of interest for Bay educators.

Email List - Join CHESSIE, an email discussion list for Bay educators, and connect with others to discuss education ideas, issues, and questions. This is not a list for students to post homework questions.

Contact Us - Use this form to send ChesSIE staff comments or questions about the website.

Nominate a Site - Use this form to nominate exceptional Chesapeake Bay websites to be part of ChesSIE. Websites must be of value for teachers, and include distinctions such as lesson plans, class activities, teacher/scientist communication programs, and similar features.

Ask a Scientist - Couldn't find the answer to your question on ChesSIE? Dr. Kirk J. Havens, Assistant Director for the Center for Coastal Resources Management Wetlands Program at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS), is happy to answer teachers' questions about the Chesapeake Bay.
