A Collection of data sets and other information pertinent to marine environmental research, some of which are presented here for online retrieval. Holdings include hydrographic, meterologic, living resources and GIS datasets.

Ferry Pier Ambient Monitoring - Water column conditions in the York River (salinity and temperature) and meteorological conditions at Gloucester Point (wind, rainfall, solar radiation).
Tide Calendars - Predictions for local stations produced by David Evans' Tidecal Program

SAV Data Archive - Submerged aquatic vegetation GIS data for Chesapeake Bay (1971 to present).
NOAA

Meteorological / water: NGWLMS Environmental Data Retrieval including Chesapeake Bay stations.
Tide Levels - Measured and predicted tides for selected locations around Chesapeake Bay.

Freshwater Flow - Surface Water Flow measured by the U.S. Geological Survey, including the major Tributaries of Chesapeake Bay. (USGS Bay Summary)
Meteorological Data - National Weather Service hourly observations for selected stations around Chesapeake Bay.
