VIMS G.S.A. Conference Fund

October 1^st to January 31^st	September 29^th
February 1^st to April 30^th	February 1^st
May 1^st to September 30^th	May 1^st

The award for the GSA Conference Fund for any VIMS graduate student presenting (poster or talk) at a conference is $100, to be used toward travel expenses or registration only, and is available only once per degree at VIMS. This award is also available to students who are not presenting but can demonstrate that the meeting is important to their research interests.

Applications (short form, a justification statement, and proof of your registration and presentation at the conference) are available on the web, or you can contact the Committee Chair. Applications must be received in the office of the Committee Chair no later than 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. (If you use mail or inter-office mail make sure you allow for delivery time.) Deliver completed applications to:

The VIMS GSA conference fund was established to allow enrolled SMS/VIMS graduate students to attend scientific conferences in support of their research. Awards in the amount of $100.00 will be one time per degree and are meant to supplement travel funds from other sources. Please read the important guidelines for this fund.
